Best Practices for the Integration of International Students in Atlantic Canada: Findings and Recommendations
Examining the possibilities for international students and foreign graduates to settle in Atlantic Canada, this new study seeks to do three thing: to better understand the strategic initiatives and the practices that are implemented in this region of the country to attract and integrate these students and graduates; to address the challenges related to the integration of the labor market; and to highlight best practices found in Atlantic Canada as well as some of their shortcomings.
S’intéressant aux possibilités qu’ont les étudiants internationaux et les diplômés étrangers de s’établir au Canada atlantique, cette nouvelle étude cherche à mieux comprendre les initiatives stratégiques et les pratiques qui sont mises en œuvre dans cette région du pays afin d’attirer et d’intégrer ces étudiants et diplômés; à faire l’examen des défis liés à l’intégration au marché du travail auxquels ils sont confrontés; et à mettre en évidence les meilleures pratiques retrouvées au Canada atlantique ainsi que certaines de leurs insuffisances.
