Marilyn Abbott is Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Teaching English as a Second Language Program in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta. Her research interests include second language reading, language learning strategies, teacher development, pedagogical practices in content area instruction that enhance learning, issues of equity in access to academic content, and assessment of English as a second language learners.
