Présentation: Depuis quelques années, les autorités gouvernementales fédérales et provinciales au Canada travaillent en étroite collaboration avec les intervenants en immigration dans le but de faciliter l’intégration sur le marché du travail des diplômés immigrants. En effet, la grande pénurie de main-d’œuvre que connait le Canada depuis le milieu des années 1990 oblige plusieurs acteurs à redoubler d’efforts pour faciliter l’intégration à différents niveaux des nouveaux arrivants.
Le colloque sur l’intégration professionnelle des immigrants au Nouveau-Brunswick est une occasion de bâtir des liens pour faciliter la transition entre l’immigration et l’intégration réussie des nouveaux arrivants à une profession ou un métier qui correspond le mieux aux qualifications et compétences acquises à l’étranger. Le colloque est une occassion pour discuter des enjeux inhérents à l’intégration des personnes immigrantes, pour mieux comprendre les rôles et les responsabilités des organisations participantes et pour identifier des possibilités de collaboration facilitant le cheminement des professionnels immigrants au Nouveau-Brunswick.

– Institutions d’enseignement postsecondaires
– Organisations d’aide aux immigrants

Goal: Creating a space for dialogue to facilitate professional integration of immigrants to NB.
About: For several years now, federal and provincial government authorities in Canada have been working closely with immigration stakeholders to make it easier for graduate immigrants to bridge into the workforce. Severe labour shortages in Canada since the mid-1990s have forced a number of players to heighten their efforts to facilitate newcomers’ integration at various levels.
The forum on professional integration for immigrants to New Brunswick is an opportunity to build connections to ease the transition between immigration and successful bridging of newcomers to the profession or trade that best corresponds to the qualifications and skills that they have acquired abroad. The forum is an opportunity to discuss the issues that are an inherent part of the integration of immigrants, to better understand the roles and responsibilities of participating organizations and to identify possible ways to collaborate on making the transition easier for professionals immigrating to New Brunswick.
